Nice idea & fun, but flimsy cups 4/12/2013

Kids love these things - they are fun. However, I thought the cups would be re-usable multiple times. They are about the same thickness/durability of a cheap Solo plastic cup. So it's likely they'll only be good for 1 or maybe 2 uses. Other than that ... Wah-Hoo!

these cups are great. they are your basic disposable cup, with a modified rim to hold glow sticks. rather than discarding them, we wash them and re-use them. they come with enough glow sticks to use each cup twice, and they accept a standard size glow stick, which gives them even more uses. great for those nighttime parties, bonfires, etc.

The glasses are thin and flimsy. To make them glow you put two glow sticks in the rim. The first one I did one Stick worked and one didn't. So half of the rim was in the dark. Might be fun for a party but they won't look like the picture at all as the rim is the only thing glowing. The price made it worth the order though.

I'm a little disappointed with the porduct's descriptions. It did not state that they use glow sticks around the lips on plain plastic cups. The pictures gave you an impresssions that the cups are in different colors and they glow the whole cup.
